    Medical cleaning strategies have emphasis on hygiene and infection.Adopting this approach focuses on proper hand hygiene meticulous cleaning and disinfecting.                                                                 First use PPE gloves eyewear always wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.When cleaning start at top and work your way down use a systematic approach cleaning most to least soiled areas                       Use appropriate cleaning agents for specific areas.Use figure eight when moping .Remember disinfecting should be done after cleaning only when necessary.                                                                                                         By using these techniques in non medical settings you can achieve a higher standard of cleanliness witch is healthier for everyone

    As I continue to grow and enhance the services offered through my cleaning business, implementing a carpet cleaning program is a top priority.     Cleaning healthcare facilities is important because health care facilities have sick people blood spills and potentially infectious breeding grounds for bacteria and viruses.Dried blood can be contagious for 7 days .                     The spread of germs can lead to serious problems like infectious people can catch wile being treated for something elese.Theseare healthcare associated infections or HAIs .For a sick person getting another infection can make them sicker even life threatening.Studies have shown dangerous bacteria like MERSA and C.difficile can be found on hospital floors and shared medical equipment.                                                                              So proper cleaning and disinfection are a strong defense against these germs protecting everyone who enters.So it is very important to everyone to have a safe environment. Where people can be safe .

    Bloodborne pathogens like AIDS and Hepatitis B and C can be transmitted by coming in contact with infected blood and other bodily fluids through broken skin and mucous membranes. This is why personnel should be informed to never compact trash with their hands because there might be needles or other sharp objects with contaminated fluids in the garbage.

    Janitorial workers and healthcare workers have an increased risk of exposure due to the nature of the their jobs. When dealing with blood or any other bodily fluids you should treat it as if it’s contaminated and use all necessary precautions to avoid exposure. 

    One precaution involves using the correct safety measures that will help protect you from exposure.These include PPE like gowns, eye wear and gloves. Another precaution uses engineering controls to reduce exposure risk. For example, a sharps disposal container for used needles. The objective is to reduce risk, so the more controls that are in place, the more risk is reduced so ensure you always use the proper protective equipment when dealing with blood and bodily fluids.
