In today's cleaning industry it is very imperative to have a comprehensive understanding of bloodborne pathogens, what they are, and the role they'll play in your operations. Whether is be for residential or commercial use, the presence of bloodborne pathogens imminent, making it very important to have an understanding of how to prevent the contraction and spread of diseases such as HIV and HBV, and what should you do in the event of possible exposure 

Education about bloodborne pathogens for employees is easily and readily accessible by employers when requested. Nonetheless there are many resources available to anyone in regards to bloodborne pathogens. Understanding what they are and how they could potentially effect you is critical to your own health. Diseases such as HIV/AIDs and HBV can very easily be transmitted without the proper knowledge of preventative maintenance making it very important to be vigilant in your practices at work and while cleaning/sanitizing yourself and contaminated areas. Employees should also have a good understanding of what procedures to be using in the event of exposure and then the proper disposal of all infected material. Understanding and following these guidelines is crucial to keeping a safe and clean work environment.
